Influenza is an acute illness of the respiratory tract caused by influenza viruses. Although it is usually self-limiting with recovery, however it can be a serious illness and may be complicated by bronchitis, pneumonia, encephalopathy, or even death in the most serious cases. In Hong Kong, the most commonly seen influenza viruses are Influenza A (H1N1 and H3N2) and Influenza B.*

Influenza vaccination is one of the most effective ways to prevent seasonal influenza and its complications, as well as reduce influenza related hospitalisation and death. 1. Flu vaccine package offers: HK$330 (inclusive of doctor’s consultation and one dose vaccination fee);

2. The offer is only available at Gleneagles Medical Centre Central, Hong Kong;

3. The offer is exclusive for The Malaysia Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong & Macau)’s members and dependents, please present your valid membership card to enjoy the offer upon registration. For dependents, please present the membership card copy;

4. Advance booking is required, on a first-come-first-served basis. For booking, please call Gleneagles Medical Clinic Central, Hong Kong at (+852) 2810 9188 and mention The Malaysia Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong & Macau) at the time of booking;

5. The above offer is valid till 31 January 2022;

6. Aged 6 months through 8 years: a. Two doses are needed if not previously vaccinated with influenza vaccine and with at least 4 weeks apart; b. If vaccinated with influenza vaccine in the past, doctor will recommend if one dose or two doses is/are required according to the vaccination history;

7. Vaccination Subsidy Scheme is not applicable to this offer;

8. Package is offered to self-pay patients only. Offer cannot be applied to direct billing or insurance claims;

9. The offer cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers;

10. Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong reserves the right to amend any of the above terms and conditions without prior notice. In case of any dispute, Gleneagles’ decision is final.
