Meet the Author: Home is Where We Are by Wang Gungwu

From Professor Wang Gungwu's last book Home Is Not Here, the exploration of identity from intellectual and emotional perspectives has been extended to this new book, Home is Where We Are. Professor Wang Gungwu spent his childhood in Ipoh. He received his BA Honours and MA from University of Malaya in Singapore and his PhD from School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. From 1986 - 1995, he was Vice Chancellor of the University of Hong Kong. 

Join us for the event to listen to Professor Wang’s early years as an academic, formation of identity, and the stories of him and Margaret.

A little trivia is that Professor Wang Gungwu was our Chairman Dato' Gan's history teacher at University of Malaya.
